A little bit about the project…

I was commissioned by a local Montreal band to create a cover for their first single. Based on the band’s vision I presented them with 3 concepts before they had chosen the one with a red sun in the center. Shortly after having completed the cover, I also worked on a wordmark for the band, as well as a layout for a poster promoting their performance at a Montreal venue. Although this project was outside my comfort zone in terms of art style and such, I found it to be a nice challenge and insightful look into working in collaboration with clients.The second cover concept shown above (the two faces intertwining) was a concept second single that did not come to fruition.
